Millwood, Inc. Acquires Cleveland Custom Pallet and Crate
Team Members Transition to Millwood Family
Millwood, Inc. acquired its 10th Ohio facility and 32nd location nationwide. The acquisition was made official on May 2, 2022 after Millwood Co-owners Chip Trebilcock and Steve Miller made the trip to Cleveland Custom Pallet & Crate, Inc. in downtown Cleveland to meet with the team members who are now a part of our Millwood family.
“We’re very excited for this acquisition,” Trebilcock said. “We firmly stand by our mission that all who come in contact with Millwood would clearly see the love of Christ in all we do, and that won’t be any different with the family we’re welcoming from CCPC.”

Preserving The History of Cleveland Custom Pallet & Crate
Serving the greater Cleveland, OH area, formerly known as G&M Pallet & Skid, Co., Cleveland Custom Pallet & Crate (CCPC) is a family-owned business with 40 years and two generations of experience.
CCPC is a full-service provider of new and custom wood pallets, crates, reconditioned pallets and wood packaging materials. It also offers pallet removal, plastic pallets, Inca pallets, repair programs and ISPM-15 certified heat treating.
The Legacy
In 1981, using his pallet purchasing expertise and a vision for a family business, Mike Broeckel established G&M Pallets with just hammers, nails and a pickup truck in Fairport Harbor, alongside his three sons.
After three years in business, Mike partnered with Bob McMillian, who worked for the company 18 years until his death in 2001.
The company put on a fresh face after adding ISPM-15 certified heat treating and crating services into its business model. The name changed from G&M Pallet & Skid to Cleveland Custom Pallet & Crate, Inc. (CCPC).
CCPC found its home in 1995 at its current location on Lakeside Avenue, a 47,900 square-foot facility on 4.9 acres and centrally located with easy access to major highways.
In 1988, Adolfo “JR” Usrey started in pallet repair and worked his way through every area of the business, eventually serving as General Manager and Vice President.
In 2012, Mike and JR hired Andy Archer who brought several years of construction experience, lending to the company's crating capabilities.
Coming Together
In January of 2022, talks of an acquisition with Millwood, Inc. began.
Following initial discussions with Millwood, it was apparent CCPC's core values aligned with Millwood's pillars.
On May 2, 2022, CCPC became part of Millwood and remains focused on servicing customers now as a Millwood, Inc. company.
